About a month ago a new coffee stand has opened right by our building, I meant the bld I work at.
Most of the time, I should all the mornings, Mary Angella brew coffee in the stand.
I enjoy chatting with her more than the Bagel I buy from her.
She wears a pink shal which ties behind her head, wears long skirts and colorful shirts.
She always wears long earings and large neckless. She is a complet pirate!
We talk about mixing tea, making jewlry (she makes her exotic jewelry herself, at least I asked her once about the necklace she was wearing and she made it herself.)
Today she was saying that you brew tea with the espresso machine.
I want to bring her some Ahmad tea from home. I hope I can encourage her to add Persian tea to her menue. (though I don't think she owns the place but I want to give a shot.)

I think managing is not a very tricky job ...
If you know what you're doing the only things left are a few old tricks
I found this article interesting in this regard.

I posted something on April 12th but for some reason, that I am not aware of, it didn't get published!
One if my Greek friends here in San Diego is going to work in Holand. He is leaving tomorrow and I think I am ganna miss him a lot!
Given the number of very dear people that I miss already I am happy that I didn't lose my sense of attaching with people around me!

I was looking up the word escalate @ dictionary.com
look what popped up:
es·ca·late ( P ) Pronunciation Key (sk-lt)v. es·ca·lat·ed, es·ca·lat·ing, es·ca·lates v. tr.
To increase, enlarge, or intensify: escalated the hostilities in the Persian Gulf.
I thought there is a bitter humor in it! Poor Persian Gulf!

Take a look at the following link
http://isg-mit.org/
It is Iranian studies at MIT.
My feeling is that there are going to be more programs like this at other school across the US with similar objectives.
I think they work on interesting topics but the research is not very extensive yet.
They had a research on motives of Iranians who go back to the country which I thought may be interesting for Niloufar's story.
